Welcome to the Stables at the foot of the Waterberg in the Limpopo province, conveniently situated only 150km from Pretoria.
The Stables is easily accessible on the R33, 8 km from Modimolle / Nylstroom, and 7 km on the Donkerpoort dirt road.
At The Stables a unique once in a lifetime farm life experience awaits you, where the call of the fish eagle and crow of the rooster at the brake of dawn awakens you.
On a clear and crispy morning, the roar off a neighbouring lion reminds you that you are privilege to be in Africa.

THE STABLE FARM STAY

SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION

The Stables is a private venue, that accommodates 1 to 10 guests (one reservation only).
There are five stables, three with double beds and 4 single beds.
Two bathrooms with showers only. Bath towels are provided.
Lapa with fire pit, braai facilities, fully equipped kitchenette and dining area.

Midweek 50% discount for pensioners with a minimum stay of 2 nights.

  We had a lovely weekend where JP the professional hunter took great care to make sure our son shot a Blesbok.

There is a good selection of game as well.

The accommodation was very comfy. Great attention to detail and also very quirky and authentic.

The boma (braaiarea) has a great firepit and separate place to braai as well. There is also a separate place to chill next to the boma.

Our kids loved giving  the lambs milk and playing with the rabbits.

The Stables is also situated close to the N1 making it easily accesible from Joburg/Pretoria.

Would definitely be back for the next hunting season.
